Flat ribs come with varying names such as Short ribs, Jacobs ladder, dandy ribs or as we call them slow roast ribs, because that's how we like to cook them.

Our beef is all grass fed on lush pasture, we the dry age the carcass for a minimum of 4-5 weeks. We then bone out the fore quarter, leaving the ribs above the brisket for our slow roast rib.

These ribs make a fantastic BBQ option, we slow roast them in our own beef rub for 3-4 hours and then finish on a hot wood BBQ. Each ribs should feed one maybe two people, and weigh about 450g

Great quality, might have been the best beef ribs I've ever ordered.

Huge ribs, perfect for slow cooking

I needed ribs for a Rick Stein's recipe from his France cookery book. Lots of meat on each rib, perfect for slow braising in a bottle of red wine. I allowed 1 rib per person and there were 4 in a pack.

Beef short ribs - eat them caveman style!

Well flavoured and matured beef short ribs, from Black Mountain Meat Co are my treat this Sunday. Slow cooked in oven bags, with a glug of olive oil, little seasoning, salt and pepper for 2.5 hours, and 'voila!'
I also add a splash of freshly-made mustard sometimes, which gives a pleasant touch.

Well-priced, I'd say, and each delivery to my door sees the ribs, vacuum packed and still very, very cold in their refrigerated container.

A good price too, from Black Mountain, and less than many other online retailers. Quality is, I confirm, first class.
